Amber Valley-Pathway
Is a Derbyshire specially produced crushed limestone that is used to cap off footpaths and private driveways, it is basically a 10mm granular limestone down to dust and will leave a non-slip, non-trip surface that knits together to form a solid bonded base that looks soft, natural and beautiful.
The fines/dust bond together with the 10mm granular limestone to form a none slip surface making it a favourite choice with local authorities and landscape designers because Amber Valley pathway blends into the surroundings more aesthetically than concrete or asphalt and is 100% environmentally friendly and is suitable for use with walking frames, crutches, push bikes and wheelchairs

 User Guide

Heavy storm rain on down slopes of more than 1 in 15 may wash the surface out and leave pot holes so we do not recomend its use

 Coverage is 8m/2 per Tonne

1. You must install a water run off camber of 1 in 50 or more

2. Lay on to a min 150mm type1 road stone sub base that as been vibrater rolled to 2000kgs (2ton)

3. If a weed suppressant membrane is required, this must be installed underneath the Type 1 stone and not on top of it

4. Lay Amber Valley Pathway on top of the sub base at 75mm depth to allow for compaction to a 50mm finish level during vibrater rolling at 2000kgs(2ton) and ensure the water is turned onto the vibrating drum to seal the surface in to the fines/dust and use plenty of water

5. Allow to dry out then roll again this time with no water if so required
